Sherman would’ve felt a lot better if his mother screamed at him, cut him out of her will, or even completely disowned him but she was disappointed in him and that hurt him a hell of a lot more. While he wanted to punch Harry square in the face for tattling to his mother he knew ultimately the only person to blame here was himself.
Sherman’s nieces Lily and Rose were by far his most favorite people in the world! Lily was loud, and loved to gossip, the total opposite of her twin. Rose was the quieter and more reserved of the two who always had her nose in a book, while Lily’s was in “grown folks’ business”. He really did miss them and needed to spend more time with them.
